Sioux Storm
is a visionary artist, healer and teacher. The great granddaughter of a Lakota Sioux medicine woman, she developed an early interest in alternative healing. Sioux was one of the core founders of the Wellness Arts Network in Corning NY, in 1998, a directory of area practitioners honoring body, mind and spirit. Sioux's studies have included a Master level in Reiki; Divine Intervention Spontaneous Remission, Intra-dimensional Web Working and Light language with Master Teacher and Healer Rev. Shirley Resler and Starr Fuentes as well as The Quickening: Accelerated Conscious Evolution program with Dr. Suzan Rossi. Sioux left corporate America as Graphics Designer/Creative Director, in 2002,to pursue healing and art full time and now appears at holistic health expos across the United States.

Clients from around the world have commissioned Sioux’s Spirit Totem Portraits and they are unique expressions of her healing abilities. The same precise dimension and hertz frequency used for hands-on healing is maintained as each portrait is created. Since paper is known to hold energy, the portrait continues to facilitate healing for the client long after the painting is completed. Each Spirit Totem Portrait is a representation of the essence of the individual painted and the animal spirits that guide her/him.

Is "Sioux Storm" your real name?
My mother named me Susan Storm. In my mother's eyes you have to have a proper name then the name she calls you. In this case, She called me Sioux Storm with that spelling. In my early rebel years (ages of 19-22 yrs) I went by Susan, until I was urged by my mentors to go back to Sioux Storm.

When did you start see animals around people?
I have always seen animals and spirit guides around people. In fact, I grew up thinking everyone did. Today, I have learned everyone can and I teach people just how to do that.

Do you see animals around people all the time?
I used too. I have learn to "turn that on and off". This is also something you too can learn to do.
